Elon Musk's aerospace company SpaceX has been confirmed to hold a large amount of Bitcoin (BTC), with an average purchase price of $35,324.

According to the initial public offering (IPO) securities registration statement (S-1) filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the 20th (local time), SpaceX invested approximately $661 million to acquire Bitcoin. The asset is currently managed through an external custodian.
