True to its name, which translates to 'mountain where the moon rises,' Wolchulsan Mountain creates a mystical atmosphere. Located in Gaesin-ri, Yeongam-eup, it is the southernmost mountainous national park on the Korean Peninsula. Rising at the edge of the Sobaek Mountain Range, Wolchulsan boasts a unique landscape of fantastic rock formations centered around Cheonhwangbong Peak, earning it the moniker 'gallery of decorative rocks.'
