The Ministry of National Defense has produced and released a promotional video titled 'Guardian,' featuring the advanced capabilities of the Army, Navy, and Air Force accompanied by beatbox music.
On the 29th, the Ministry posted the video on its official YouTube channel, showcasing key advanced weapons such as the K9 self-propelled howitzer, KAAV amphibious assault vehicle, ROKS Dosan Ahn Changho, ROKS King Sejong the Great, and the indigenous KF-21 Boramae fighter jet.
The video features artists WING, Huckle, and Hellcat, who originated from the Navy's public relations unit, delivering a dynamic beatbox performance. They are currently active members of the five-member beatbox group Beatfella House.
This content was planned to mark the first anniversary of the Lee Jae-myung administration's inauguration. The Ministry of National Defense stated that the video was produced to promote the status of K-defense both domestically and internationally, and to convey the advanced capabilities more intuitively in line with today's video-centric media consumption environment.
